Where is our neighborhood?

Located on Golf Club Drive, our neighborhood is near public transportation, The Tannery Arts Center, Harvey West Pool, and the Pogonip greenbelt. We are a mile from downtown shopping and restaurants, with many cultural, recreational, employment, and volunteer opportunities. The UCSC campus is three miles away.


Must residents be LLC members?

No, anyone can be a resident at Coastal Haven.


How is the housing arranged?

Each resident chooses their home and their housemates. Each home has its own kitchen, living/dining area, and front porch. The pocket neighborhood includes common space outside where residents can gather with friends and neighbors. Housing is designed according to universal design principles to permit residents of all abilities to age in place.


Does a potential resident have to be a regional center consumer?

No.


How will residents get services?

Coastal Haven Families, LLC is not a service provider. Residents who require support services to live independently, and who are regional center consumers, work with their interdisciplinary team to arrange supportive services through the IPP process. Our neighborhood is designed with input and guidance from local service providing organizations as well as future residents.
