CHF’s pocket neighborhood was created by a group of families who came together to create a place for people with disabilities to live with one another, and others, in an intentional neighborhood. A common desire among future residents to build friendships and live in shared housing is the impetus for our model. Driven by their children’s desire for relationships, independence, and choice, these families pooled their resources to create a sustainable housing community close to urban amenities, while offering the beauty of a natural setting.
